Down in the town, visit the restored Real Casino de Murcia, an eclectic building whose original purpose was not gambling but rather to be a meeting place for Murcia’s high society. View, from the outside, the Cathedral of Murcia. Observe the intriguing blend of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque-period architecture in its design. Afterward, if time permits, you can purchase a snack or drink at a local café and observe passersby, or you can browse in the nearby shops. You’ll then return to the pier.
