Copenhagen City Tour & Tivoli Gardens

A luxury coach will be ready to take you on the lovely tour through the streets of Copenhagen City and then finally introduce you to the other world of fairy tales in the heart of the metropolitan city, Tivoli Gardens. As you travel through the city, you will pass all the major sights such as the Stock Exchange, Christiansborg Palace, the Danish parliament, City Hall Square, the main shopping area, Stroeget and Rosenborg Castle. You will also pass Amalienborg Palace (exterior view only). After this, you will travel to Nyhavn. This colorful and lively waterfront district was once the favorite haunt for sailors. From Nyhavn, your guide will take you to Tivoli Gardens, which is usually at the top of everyone's list of places to visit. Founded in 1843, it is a beautiful, romantic park with lanterns in the trees that create a unique atmosphere. It has open air stages for music and theater and a wealth of high-class restaurants. This magical park, which is more than 160 years old, has inspired many people and has been the inspiration for many creations. Now, you are ready for sightseeing around Tivoli Gardens to see all the beautiful flowers, the crazy amusements, and even though it is daytime, you might be able to notice all of Tivoli’s evocative lighting. On your way back to your cruise ship, a stop will be made to see the famous statue of The Little Mermaid, a fairytale creation of Hans Christian Andersen.
