Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age – 8 years. Maximum weight – 250 lbs. For safety reasons, pregnant women and guests with heart or respiratory conditions or back/neck injuries may not participate on this excursion. Strollers and wheelchairs are not allowed. Guests must wear their swimsuit underneath their clothing. Touching the turtles is restricted. Guests must be able to swim to participate in water activities.
What to Bring: Beach towel, water shoes, UV protection clothing, and cash or credit/debit card for additional purchases.
Good to Know: Lunch options may vary by season. This tour takes place on Mexico's mainland, located about 45 minutes by ferry boat from the island of Cozumel. The ferry ride may be rough depending on weather conditions. Guests prone to sea sickness are advised to take preventative medication prior to boarding the ferry. Travel time between each location is approximately 30 minutes and three locations are visited during this tour. Due to local regulations, the use of sunscreen is prohibited in order to protect the reef system and turtles. Cameras and phones are not permitted at the cenote due to company regulations, and guests must shower before entering. If weather conditions become inclement, snorkeling activities will then be redirected to a protected inlet.
