Turtle Conservation: Step into Cozumel’s inspiring Save-a-Sea Turtle program, where you’ll witness dedicated volunteers as they gently inspect nests, count hatched eggs, and rescue newly hatched sea turtles left behind. These tiny hatchlings receive a helping hand when they need it most, keeping them safe from predators and preparing them for a hopeful, perfectly timed journey into the ocean.
Beach Time: At the end of this once in a lifetime experience, relax and enjoy about an hour of beach time, to cool off and refresh.
What’s Included:
Accessibility: This tour is not accessible for guests using wheelchairs, canes, rollators, or other mobility devices.
Requirements & Restrictions: For safety reasons, pregnant women, people with heart or respiratory problems, and people with back or neck injuries or recent surgeries less than 6 months are not permitted to participate in this tour.
What to Bring: Beach Towel. Cash or credit cards for additional purchases. Water shoes are recommended.
Good to Know: This tour is seasonal and only available from end of July until early November. Cameras and video filming are allowed. No flash pictures of the turtles. The beach is rocky. Children 5 years and under are free.
