Explore Willemstad’s Dutch architecture — pastel-colored buildings and ornate facades — on a guided walking tour of this historic city. Take advantage of the great photo opportunities at the city center — part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filled with scenic buildings and unique Dutch architecture. You will pass several of the city’s highlights, including the famous Queen Anne Bridge, known as the “floating bridge”; Fort Amsterdam, the most famous Curaçao fort and seat of the governor; the floating market with Venezuelan merchants selling products directly from their sailing ships; and several picturesque narrow streets. Visit the extraordinary Hotel Kura Hulanda Village and Spa, which has a rich history; then enjoy a brief stop at the local marketplace, where they sell food and other interesting items. On your way back to the ship, you will pass the oldest synagogue in the Western Hemisphere. You’ll also walk through the small streets of Punda back to the floating bridge. At the end of your tour, you can stay in the city center or be escorted back to the ship.
