Discover Sanctuary Bay: Sanctuary Bay is a natural 9-acre lagoon and home to 12 Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Established in 1999, the Dolphin Experience has been long recognized in the marine mammal field with a focus on education through interaction.
Swim with Dolphins in Open Ocean: In approximately 20-25 ft. of water, you will get to swim with beautiful Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Swim alongside these amazing creatures and perform tricks with the them such as spin, splash, wave and speak. The trainers will talk with you about the process of open ocean training as the dolphins jump and play in the boat’s wake.
Bird Experience: Explore the bird patio, home to macaws, cockatoos and African tortoises of all sizes. Animal care staff will be on hand to safely handle the birds while you take some “insta-worthy” photos.
Accessibility: Tour is ambulatory accessible. You must be able to take a few steps (up/down) and walk short distances. Collapsible wheelchair can be stored.
Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum height – 55 in. A parent or guardian must participate in the dolphin program with children under 16 years. For safety reasons, pregnant women may not participate on this excursion. Cameras and cell phones are not permitted during the dolphin program. For the safety of the dolphins, please remove jewelry and do not wear tanning oils and excessive amounts of sunscreen.
What to Bring: Beach towel and cash for purchases (cards not accepted).
Good to Know: All ages are welcome. This excursion does not offer an observer option. Professional photos will be available for purchase. Life vest is provided and mandatory to wear.
