Your sightseeing journey begins at the pier where you’ll board your transportation and leave the Melville Street Port. Founded in the early 18th century by the French, St. George's still possesses some of the character of a French town, particularly in the red tile roofs and pastel colors of its traditional architecture. You'll travel through town over Old Fort Road and onto Morne Jaloux Ridge to pass by Fort Frederick. The journey continues through the city, over the Morne Jaloux Ridge through Woburn, Grand Anse Valley and onto True Blue for refreshments. From True Blue, where St. George’s University is located, the drive proceeds to Point Salines International Airport. From Point Salines, pass along Grand Anse, through Morne Rouge to Quarantine Station where a short photo stop will be made. The main highlight is the colorful and bustling Carenage, the perfectly formed inner harbor, which serves as an anchorage for every sort of vessel, from small fishing boats and elegant yachts to smaller cruise ships. Your tour includes a refreshment stop with complimentary beer, fruit juices, soft drinks or bottled water before returning to the ship.
