Enjoy several notable stops on this scenic excursion! You will visit the Lili’uokalani Japanese Garden, the statue of King Kamehameha overlooking Hilo Bay, Rainbow Falls, the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Farm and Black Sand Beach. Your tour begins with a ride down Banyan Drive through Lili’uokalani Garden, the largest, Japanese-styled garden outside of Asia. Continue on to Big Island Candies, with the most scrumptious cookies and chocolates on the island. You’ll then move on to see the massive statue of King Kamehameha overlooking Hilo Bay. Next visit the Hilo Farmers Market in the heart of Downtown Hilo, followed by a photo stop at the stunning Rainbow Falls, with an 80-ft drop and nearly 100-ft in diameter across. After the falls, you’ll continue on to the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Farm. While at the farm, you’ll see how Hawaii’s most recognizable delights are roasted, and then get a chance to sample the nuts, ice creams and other indulgences. Your last stop will be at Black Sand Beach. See these unique sands and the flows left by lava explosions along the coast. Keep a lookout for green sea turtles basking in the sun as well! After your visit to Black Sand Beach, you'll return to your ship.
