An experienced ecological guide will accompany you on this unique journey of discovery as you travel through the busy city of Honolulu and on to the crater at Diamond Head. You'll hear captivating stories about the origins and history of this world famous landmark, while standing within its extinct volcanic crater. Then, travel along the southern coast to Hanauma Bay and the famous Halona Point blowhole, where seawater pushing through a volcanic vent erupts into a large fountain. See incredible panoramic views at the Makapu’u Lookout as you learn about the area’s volcanic origins. Continue toward the windward coast and high into the Koolau Mountains. Although often windswept and cloud-covered, the views are nonetheless magnificent.

  • The Pali Lookout is closed until further notice. It is currently under construction due to landslides this past spring.
