ATV Adventure: Depart on a guided sightseeing tour through Hoonah, Alaska’s largest Tlingit Village, in-route to pick up your ATV. After a short safety presentation, you’ll explore deep into the scenic landscape of Chichagof Island. Following behind the lead guide, you will navigate along logging roads to breathtaking photo stops showcasing Alaska’s mountainous valleys and ocean views. At the turnaround point, you will have the opportunity to switch licensed drivers.
Requirements & Restrictions: Wear closed-toe shoes. Minimum age – 6 years. Minimum age to drive – 16 years. Guest under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian. Waivers must be signed prior to the tour. Drivers must have valid driver’s license; are responsible for observing and obeying all speed limits posted in the vehicles and the roads, as well as verbal instructions from the guide; are responsible for damage to the vehicle as well as money lost in time it takes to repair. Guest who have been drinking prior to the tour departure will not be allowed to drive. For safety reasons, pregnant women or guests with knee, back or neck injuries may not participate on this excursion.
What to Bring: Driver’s license, closed-toe shoes.
Good to Know: Every vehicle has communication via two-way radio system. Two guest per ATV. Stops will be made to allow drivers to switch. Dress in layers for your comfort level.
