Country Adventure: Explore the rugged, natural beauty Chichagof Island has to offer in your own Jeep® vehicle. The area, which is part of the Tongass National Forest and the largest National Forest in the United States, is also home to wildlife such as Sitka black-tailed deer, brown bears, and eagles, to name a few. Be sure to keep your eyes open for sightings! You can switch drivers during one of the stops while your knowledgeable guide explains the area’s history and tells you more about the wildlife, adding to your truly unforgettable Alaska Experience. Accessibility: Tour is ambulatory accessible; you must be able to take a few steps (up/down) and transfer to a seat. Wheelchair and scooters will be stored at the departure area and cannot be brought with you.
Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age to drive the vehicle – 25. Driver must present valid driver’s license and be willing to sign a liability waiver. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian.
What to Bring: Valid driver’s license.
Good to Know: Parties under groups of four will share a Jeep. Multiple stops will be made along the way to allow guests to switch drivers if they choose to. Dress for the weather and your comfort. Car seats will be provided upon prior request.
