
This excursion is a true Alaskan adventure, combining helicopter glacier flightseeing and the state’s official sport, dog sledding! Fly over the lush rain forest, deep blue crevasses and glacier carved peaks. You will enjoy a spectacular flightseeing tour en route to the dogsled camp on the Mendenhall Glacier. Once you arrive at camp, you will be greeted by a professional musher and a team of Alaskan Huskies. Set out on the trail where your sled team will pull you across the snow-covered glacier. Talk with the mushers and take pictures with the dogs and PUPPIES before your helicopter takes you back to civilization.
Helicopter time is approximately 30 minutes. Due to weight, balance and capacity restrictions, if you weigh 250 lbs or more, you are required when booking, to purchase a second seat ($145.00 surcharge) on helicopter flightseeing excursions. The following is not permitted on the flight: bags (of any kind); ), tablets, selfie sticks and drones. A secure location will be provided at the office for storing personal items. Glacier over-boots are provided. Children 2 years of age and older will be required to have a full price ticket purchased for them.
