Imagine when the region's first people, the Tlingit Indians, traversed the waters of southeast Alaska in hand-carved canoes. On this tour, you will re-enact the experience, being among the select few, under a limited U.S. Forest Service permit, to travel by canoe and venture within yards of the majestic Mendenhall Glacier.
