Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age – 5 years. Minimum weight – 30 lbs, Maximum weight – 300 lbs. Deck or rubber soled shoes must be worn on board.
What to Bring: Warm, layered clothing, cash or credit/debit card for purchases, driver’s license or government issued photo ID (passports are not admitted).
Good to Know: Fishing lasts approximately 3½ hours with a daily limit of one Pacific Halibut (37-80 inches). A $15 fishing license per person is required and can be purchased at the dock the morning of your tour (cash or card) or bought in advance with a printed license that you'll present at check-in. Fish cannot be stored onboard, but with a credit card, your catch will be processed and shipped home (U.S. only). Halibut retention is prohibited on Tuesdays from May 13 to October 7, 2025. Dates will be updated for 2026 as soon as they are released by Alaskan Authorities. Weather and tides affect catch opportunities; about 50% of guests catch halibut.
