Enjoy the scenic countryside of Schleswig-Holstein. You will travel through quaint rural areas and pass the village of Plön, where you will see Plön Castle in the distance, nestled majestically on a hill between two lakes. Then, step aboard a nearby day boat for a ride across five different lakes to the village of Malente. These lakes are very popular because of their clear waters and lovely shorelines. The surrounding forests create a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. Once you arrive in Malente, continue travelling by coach to the town of Eutin, also called the City of Roses. Explore the gardens of Eutin Castle and stroll the narrow streets to a local marketplace with your guide for an orientation. After this orientation, you can enjoy approximately 45-60 minutes of free time in this lovely village before returning to Kiel.
