Visit ancient Ephesus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and explore the spectacular, newly excavated Terrace Houses. Travel for 30 minutes to Ephesus and be guided past the Hadrian Temple and walk down the Arcadian Way, pass the breathtaking Celsius Library, and the Baths of Scholastikia. Enter the Terrace Houses discovered in the 1980s, and walk along the glass and steel walkways specifically constructed to see these wealthy Ephesians houses. View the Great Theater, seating 25,000 spectators. Before returning to Kusadasi, enjoy the traditional Turkish experience of sipping apple tea while watching a myriad of colors unfold before your eyes during a carpet demonstration at the weaving village. Those interested in purchasing a carpet can do so with confidence. From here, you will drive back to the port, then either return directly to the ship or stay in Kusadasi.
Tour includes walking over rough, uneven and broken pathways, marble ground and cobblestone terrain. This tour is not recommended for guests with mobility issues. Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, water and a hat are recommended.
