Fado & Tapas

Step into the ambiance of old Portugal and its rich culture. The highlight of your visit will be your exposure to a type of local folk music known as fado. Fado is a popular type of Portuguese folk music that has been named a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity treasure. During the show, you'll see performances by some of the city’s greatest singers accompanied by mandolins or guitars. You will also enjoy some tapas, prepared with local flavors especially for you, as well as a glass of red or white Douro port wine. Along with the tapas, you'll have a chance to experience old Portugal and the traditions of the Douro region when you taste the port wine at the cellar. The cellar panels lining the room showcase the most significant and iconic aspects of port wine. Local handicrafts are also on display and available for purchase.
