Bocuare Jungle: Take a one-hour scenic drive along the vast coastline, passing by quaint towns and abundant plantations, where you will find a reserve owned by a Costa Rican family immersed in the indigenous Bribri community at the Estrella Valley of Limon. They are devoted to the conservation of tropical flora and fauna, bringing prosperity and peace of mind to many indigenous women, and producing their family’s high quality, organic chocolate beans.

Cocoa Cultivation: This interactive excursion is the perfect way to enjoy the tropical rainforest. Admire the manicured botanical gardens and see the chocolate process from the farm, fermentation, drying and packing using ancient indigenous ways of transforming cocoa beans into delicious chocolate in a sustainable manner. Visit the open-air restaurant to enjoy a typical lunch prepared by the Bocuare family before returning to your ship.
