Historic Jungle Train: Travel into Costa Rica’s exciting past on a vintage train that takes you through the lush jungle, passing banana plantations. Be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife that frequent the tracks. This open-air historical train made its first trip in 1940 and allowed coffee producers to export their “golden bean” to European ports. It also is responsible for the start of the banana industry here.
