Requirements & Restrictions: Guests should follow park rules and not attempt to feed or touch wildlife. Photography is allowed but avoid flash. Strollers must be parked in designated areas. No large bags or food allowed in animal areas.

What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, a camera, bug repellent, a hat, sunglasses, a swimsuit, a towel, and cash or card for optional purchases.

Good to Know: Guests should be aware that the pathways include uneven surfaces, stairs, and a suspension bridge that require mobility. Moderate walking will be necessary to fully enjoy the experience. For those needing assistance, a golf cart driven by Gumbalimba staff is available for an additional fee, which can be paid on-site. Gumbalimba Park adheres to animal handling standards as established by the ICMA (Instituto de Conservación y Medio Ambiente) and the ICF (Instituto de Conservación Forestal), with full certification and permits in place. Wildlife interactions are carefully managed to prioritize animal welfare and environmental stewardship.
