Horseback Riding Adventure: View the beautiful scenery, ruins and small towns nestled on the hillsides as you take a 30-minute drive along the picturesque coast. Mount your horse for your ride through the rustic countryside. Explore, on horseback, the historic Blue Hole Estate, a 16th century sugar estate sprawling over 750-plus acres. View the reconstructed great house, windmill ruins and one of the original breadfruit trees brought to Jamaica by Captain Bligh. Ride through small villages, across a riverbed, for a spectacular view of the coastline. After riding through a beautiful mangrove forest, unsaddle the horses and ride on a water pad into the warm Caribbean Sea.
Chukka Sandy Bay Ocean Outpost: Ocean Outpost is in the quaint fishing village of Sandy Bay. Enjoy local food and beverages (at guest’s expense) and pulsating reggae music or relax at the infinity pool before heading back to your ship.
Requirements & Restrictions: Maximum weight – 230 lbs. Closed-toe shoes are required. For safety reasons, pregnant women and guests with back or neck injuries and heart or respiratory conditions may not participate in this excursion.
What to Bring: Beach towel, swimwear, bug repellent and cash or credit/debit card for purchases.
Good to Know: Riding time is approximately 50 minutes. Souvenirs and digital photo packages are available for purchase. Small lockers are available for rent to hold loose belongings.
