Island Drive, Kia Ora & Belvedere

Take a tour of the island on this half-day narrated excursion. View the 1822 stone church at Papetoai and take in island views from the Kia Ora and Le Belvedere lookouts. See the ruins of an ancient "marae" or Polynesian temple, as well as a photo opportunity of famed Bali Hai, which was featured in the classic musical "South Pacific." You'll return via a scenic route along the other side of the island, passing through Haapiti, Moorea's commercial center, and Afareitu, the largest village on the island. There will be time for shopping at one of the local pearl stores before heading back to the pier and your cruise ship.
