Buried for centuries, it wasn't until 1748 that the town was rediscovered, and excavations began. You'll enjoy a guided tour of this amazing excavation and afterwards, a stop at a cameo factory will be made to see how this delicate work is created.
This excursion involves approximately two hours of walking over uneven surfaces and cobblestone. For safety reasons, guests with difficulty walking may not participate on this excursion.
