Accessibility: This tour is not accessible for guests using wheelchairs, canes, rollators, or other mobility devices. Not accessible for guests who are blind/low vision or deaf/hard of hearing.
Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age – 10 years. Minimum height – 48 in. All participants must be capable of independently boarding and exiting the vessels, as well as navigating any ramps, ladders, or stairs necessary for taking part in animal programs. Cameras, cells phones and other electronic devices are not allowed during the shark encounter. Water shoes are required for this tour. For safety reasons, this tour is not suitable for guests who are pregnant, with open cuts or wounds, on their menstrual cycle, have limited to no vision or hearing, lower limb amputees, epilepsy or Tourette’s. For guest safety, individuals using oxygen delivery systems, including portable tanks and concentrators, are not permitted on this tour.
What to Bring: Light clothing, sun hat, and debit/credit card for purchases. Blue Lagoon Island is a cashless destination, accepting only major credit cards.
Good to Know: Transportation to the island is via a 35-minute, scenic boat ride. Guests booked on other Blue Lagoon tours may travel together on the same boat. Paddleboards, kayaks, clear bottom kayaks, water bikes and snorkel gear are available for rent. Access to the Aquapark will be available at additional cost. once on the island. Facilities also include showers, lockers and changing rooms. Blue Lagoon Island is certified under the global American Humane Conservation program for the welfare and humane treatment of the animals under its care.
