Stockholm Sights & Vasa Museum

Your tour begins as you board your motorcoach for a relaxing drive through the Swedish countryside before reaching the city limits of Stockholm. You'll visit the Vasa Museum, housing the Swedish warship Vasa, built to be among the world's largest and most prestigious warships. The museum is literally built around the 17th-century warship, which sank in Stockholm's inner harbor on her maiden voyage in 1628. Salvaged in 1961 and today restored to much of her former glory, the Vasa is an astonishing piece of living history. Drive through the Diplomat area and through Östermalm – a fashionable neighborhood of stately apartment buildings, to the modern shopping and business areas. You'll cross the Western Bridge offering extensive views of the city skyline and head up to Fjällgatan for a stunning view over Stockholm before returning to Nynäshamn.
