What to Bring: Wear comfortable, low-heeled walking shoes. Comfortable, flat walking shoes are recommended. Japanese Yen is required for additional purchases.

There is a walk of approximately 10 minutes to the parking area from Otaru canal and a further 10 minutes to the Sumiyoshi shrine, as well as around 100 steps to negotiate. There are some steps to negotiate at the Aoyama Villa and guests will be required to remove their shoes. The order of visits may vary. Tenguyama Ropeway will not operate in bad weather conditions. Due to congestion, the waiting time for the ropeway may be increased. Shin-Nantaru Market is closed on Wednesday so if the call day is Wednesday, you will visit Nantaru Market instead.
