Oyster Farm: Explore the vast beauty of Coffin Bay’s world-famous oyster farms, set in crystal-clear waters, with provided waders allowing you to wade among the oyster beds and experience them up close.
Sip & Shuck: Back on board, enjoy freshly shucked oysters with local beverages available for purchase as your veteran oyster farmer host shares the history of Coffin Bay oyster farming, explains how world-class oysters are produced, and teaches you how to shuck like a pro.
Independent Explorations: Spend some free time in Coffin Bay, then return to Port Lincoln with a scenic stop at Winters Hill and the choice of being dropped in the town centre or back at the wharf.
Accessibility: Guests who are blind, have low vision, or are deaf or hard of hearing must be accompanied by a companion at all times.
Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age to consume alcohol – 18 years. Guests must be able to board and exit the coach and vessel unassisted.
What to Bring: Comfortable flat-soled, enclosed walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a hat, jacket, sunscreen, bottled water, and local currency or credit/debit card for purchases.
Good to Know: This experience involves wading in shallow water within oyster beds. Waders are provided, however, guests may still get wet. Surfaces can be uneven and slippery. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
