On this tour, you will experience the unique flavors of Mexico firsthand as you learn how to make a few classic Mexican dishes. Before taking you up to La Dulce Villa, located 984 ft. above sea level, the tour guide will take you through the bustling, traditional Mexican market where the main ingredients can be found. You will experience the daily life of locals at all the stalls laden with fruits, vegetables and much more. From there, you will enjoy a brief drive in an open-air vehicle as we venture down a winding dirt road through the jungle and up into the Sierra Madre Mountains where spectacular views and the awesome staff await you at the La Dulce Vista! Here, you will have access to an open bar of domestic beer and margaritas. You can use it to pair with your food and then take full advantage after the fun of preparing your meal. Of course, you’ll take the recipes home with you so that you can surprise your friends and family with your new-found cooking skills. After enjoying a meal that you helped make, you will have time to relax and put your feet up. You can enjoy the pool, explore the grounds and the botanical gardens or just laze about in the hammocks. At this point, we´ll transfer you down to the heart of downtown; visiting the Malécon, where you can take selfies at the iconic Boy on the Seahorse Statue, stop at the Opal Mine Factory and then move on to a traditional Mexican candy factory, where you are surrounded by a marvel of colors, flavors and sweet aromas of the typical Mexican candy. The factory is the perfect treat to complete your day! Once you’ve had your fun at the Mexican candy factory you´ll re-board the open-air vehicle to have a leisurely trip back to the ship.

What’s included:
Transportation, a full Mexican lunch, water, soda and an open bar (domestic beer and margaritas).

NOTES

  • The minimum drinking age is 18 years old.
  • The road up to the Villa may be muddy, dusty and/or bumpy ¬so just sit back, relax and enjoy the views.
