Coffee, Chocolate & Sarchi Experience with Lunch

Travel by an air-conditioned motor coach to Coopronaranjo where more than 2,300 farmers started working the land over 40 years ago cultivating one of the finest coffees of the region. Experience how coffee beans known as cherries are picked, sorted, peeled, fermented and sun dried for local consumption and sample the flavorful brew. Visit an authentic replica of a Costa Rican laborer house and learn how cacao are toasted, grinded and turned into chocolate. Don’t forget to sample the delicious chocolate covered coffee beans before you leave. Board your air-conditioned motor coach to travel to Sarchi one of Costa Rica’s most famous artisan towns. A brief photo-stop will be made at the main square to see the largest oxcart ever built and visit the factory that elaborated it.
