Visit the scenic Sarchi Village which is considered the home of Costa Rica's best wooden craftsmanship and artisan town. You will have a photo stop at the largest Oxcart ever built which is permanently displayed at the Sarchi Central Park. Visit the factory that created the large oxcart that still propels most of their machinery by a large water wheel. Observe an expert craftsmen hand painting oxcarts just like their ancestors did. See a variety of wood creations crafted on-site. Enjoy tropical fruit samples and natural refreshments at the Eloy Alfaro Oxcart Factory. Take a stroll through Grecia Central Park and photograph its unique 19th century Gothic style church made entirely of metal.
