
The Sky Walk trails and suspended cable bridges will show you the wonders of the tropical forest of the Central Pacific region of Costa Rica which is located around National Parks and protected lands. More than 80 species of birds have been identified as well as mammals. Enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and coastline as you walk downhill for approximately over an hour.
On this excursion you will:
Experience views of birds and mammals from high above the forest in the treetops. An approximate one-hour drive takes you to the national parks and protected lands. There you will embark on a hike over trails and be suspended on cable bridges showing some of the wonders of a tropical forest. More than 80 species of birds have been identified here as well as mammals like the Kinkajou, Agoutis and Coatis. The walk takes a bit over an hour and is mostly downhill enabling you to enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and coastline as well as the vegetation and waterways. After the walk, travel to a local large souvenir store where complimentary fresh fruits and natural juice can be sampled before your drive back to the pier.
