Journey to Tijuca: Set off on a picturesque drive by the famous beaches of Botafogo, Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon as you make your way to Tijuca Forest National Park, the largest urban rainforest in the world.

Summit Hike: Start your hike at the trailhead and enjoy a moderate 2-mile trek through the Atlantic Forest. The ascent of 200 meters leads you to the summit of Pedra Bonita, where you can take in panoramic views of Pedra da Gávea, Rocinha favela, the Two Brothers mountains, and the beaches of Barra da Tijuca.

Picnic with a View: At the top, indulge in a boxed picnic and soak in the amazing scenery of Rio. Once refreshed, hike back down and catch a minivan back to the pier.

Accessibility: This tour is not accessible for guests using wheelchairs, canes, rollators, or other mobility devices.

Requirements & Restrictions: Guests must be able to hike 3.2 km over uneven surfaces.

What to Bring: Light clothing, hiking shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, a camera, and a small backpack.

Good to Know: National Park trails close at 3 PM and the latest possible pick-up is at 1:30 PM. Restrooms are available at the start of the trail. The elevation gain is approximately 200 meters with the highest point being 695 meters. Hiking is classified as easy to moderate.
