Accessibility: This tour is not accessible for guests using wheelchairs, canes, rollators, or other mobility devices.
Requirements & Restrictions: This tour involves moderate walking over uneven terrain and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or difficulty climbing stairs. For safety reasons, guests with knee, back or neck injuries, and guests with heart, vision, or respiratory conditions may not participate on this excursion.
What to Bring: Dress in lightweight, breathable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and cash or credit/debit card for additional purchases. Light rain jackets or ponchos are recommended, as brief rain showers are common in the rainforest. Reusable water bottles to stay hydrated and cameras or mobile phones for photos is highly recommended.
Good to Know: Weather conditions in El Yunque can change quickly; some stops may vary in order depending on traffic conditions inside the rainforest and may be adjusted for guest safety and comfort. Traffic can get congested, and alternate routes may be used when possible. The road to the rainforest has a lot of curves, therefore, guests that suffer from motion sickness or similar should take this into consideration before booking this excursion. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
