Begin with a short drive on an air-conditioned bus to the New San Juan area, passing by the Isla Verde strip with luxurious hotels, pristine beaches and the Balneario de Carolina monument boasting breathtaking views. Continuing onto the modern Condado district to the first stop at La Ventana del Mar or Window of the Sea. 

This is a plaza set next to the beach, featuring a glorious fountain and walkway to the ocean full of high-end stores and restaurants. Returning back to the heart of Old San Juan, explore the capitol building of Puerto Rico, El Capitolio, established in 1929 housing the original document for the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. 

Visit the Presidents’ monuments where the guide will point out the breathtaking San Cristobal Fort. Continue to the Santa Maria Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery, a colonial era cemetery, final resting place of many of Puerto Rico’s most prominent residents. While at the cemetery, you will also have the chance to take photos of the marvelous San Felipe del Morro Castle, the oldest Spanish fort in the New World built in 1539 and recently designated as a National Historic Site by the United Nations. 

On the way back to the pier, take in a final view of the alluring Casa Blanca, home of Juan Ponce de Leon’s family.
