Sailing the Caldera

This tour will introduce you to one of the most amazing geological phenomena of the world. The caldera of Santorini, created after one of the largest volcanic eruptions the planet has ever seen, occurred 3500 years ago. After boarding the traditional sailing boat, relax and enjoy the sailing which will take you first to the 7 Pedes spot for a ½ an hour swim. Continue sailing to the island of Thirassia which holds only 350 inhabitants in the main village, Manolas. After passing Thirassia the local boat sails close to the beautiful Ammoudi beach with the reddish caldera walls and underneath picturesque Oia village as well as the Armeni Bay where you will have the opportunity to take photos of this magnificent view. Tour will end at the Old Port of Fira from where you will have the possibility to go into town or take the water shuttle back to the ship.
