Skriduklaustur Museum

After boarding a motorcoach you'll travel to Fjardarheidi, the mountain pass between Seydisfjordur and Egilsstadir and stop at the top for panoramic views. Your first destination is the former home of writer Gunnar Gunnarsson and now a museum and an educational institute for artists, writers and scholars. From Skriduklaustur you will walk over to Snaefellsstofa, the visitor center for the area covering the east side of Vatnajokull National Park. The visitor center offers an interactive way to explore the nature of the area.
