Experience the best of Skagway on this half-day tour of its celebrated sights and attractions. Depart from the train depot for a thrilling train ride to the summit of the White Pass. Climb nearly 3,000 ft. over 20 miles of steep grades and cliff-hanging turns. Delight in the breathtaking views from the large picture windows as you relax in your vintage car. Back in Skagway, board a motorcoach and travel the historic streets of downtown Skagway, part of the Klondike National Historical Park. Stop at The Lookout, a photographer’s delight offering a panoramic view of the Skagway Valley, glacier-clad mountains, Lynn Canal and your cruise ship. Enjoy a hearty salmon bake buffet at the Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp, a recreation of a tent city from 1898, complete with all the fun and excitement of the Gold Rush days. End your day with a glass of champagne and a toast in the infamous Red Onion Saloon.
