Important Information Regarding Passports for International Tours

All guests must possess original passports or permanent resident cards with an expiration date that is at least 6 months after the cruise ends, along with any necessary visas, as this tour crosses an international border.

  • US Citizens: You may use a passport card or an Enhanced Driver’s License but note that this option is only valid for residents of Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Vermont, and Washington State.
  • REAL ID: U.S. citizens may use a REAL ID; however, it will not be accepted for crossing the international border unless you also present an original birth certificate.
  • Minor Children: Children under the age of 18 years travelling without both parents need a letter of consent from the absent parent(s). It is advisable to have a notary public witness and sign the letter.
Please remember that no copies or screenshots of any documents will be accepted at the border.

Requirements & Restrictions: Guests must be able to climb three steps into the minibus. Stops may be on gravel. Guests traveling on wheelchairs or scooters may leave them at the pier next to the Shore Excursion Booth since the bus cannot accommodate.

What to Bring: Bring along sunglasses, camera, and binoculars. Needed documentation to cross the border.

Good to Know: Weather conditions change quickly. Wear comfortable shoes and dress in layers. Guests who leave the tour in town can walk back to the pier or catch the SMART shuttle for a small fee.
