
Travel via coach to Valletta and visit the Upper Barracca Gardens on foot. Enjoy a panoramic view of Malta's natural harbours and the historic cities of Senglea, Cospicua and Vittoriosa. Then proceed to St. John's Co-Cathedral, the Conventual Church of the Knights of Malta, where you will also see the famous masterpiece - Caravaggio's Beheading of St. John. You will then walk to MUZA – Malta’s Museum of Fine Arts. You will then be driven to Tarxien to visit the Three Neolithic Temples which are unique in the world. Enroute you will stop for lunch at Ta Maria, one of Malta’s award winning restaurants specializing in local cuisine. This stop will be followed with a visit to Malta’s Old Capital, Mdina, the Silent City. Here you will visit the Cathedral of St. Paul where Pope John Paul II chose the chapel within the cathedral to pray alone. Onto the Ramparts, dating back to the 9th century. Enjoy the scenic drive to the Glass Blowing factory, to watch local artisans at their creative work, prior to driving back to your ship.
