Say hi to adorable baby Hawksbill turtles at the Turtle Sanctuary on Tranquility Island and enjoy spectacular snorkelling at Jade Beach. See Efate Island as you depart from the wharf headed for Havannah Harbour on the north side of the island. From Havannah Harbour, travel by boat to Tranquility Island. You might spot a friendly dolphin or two along the way.
The Turtle Sanctuary raises baby Hawksbill turtles until they reach twelve months old, they are then tagged and released into the wild. Spend some time with the turtles, take a guided tour of the conservatory, and learn about the wonderful work they do.
Next, explore on a twenty-minute tropical nature walk across the island to Jade Beach. Picturesque and the perfect area for spectacular snorkelling. Kick back and enjoy a picnic lunch in between swimming and snorkelling just off the beach. Get the chance to join a snorkel tender for a guided trip to the outer reef.
