Depart the pier by coach for Bad Doberan, which lies approximately 9.5 miles to the west of Rostock. Enjoy a guided tour of the Minster, former summer residence of the Dukes of Mecklenburg and home to the grand example of Gothic red brick architecture, which used to be a mighty Cistercian convent. Your journey will continue to the Molli Station in Bad Doberan, where you will board the Molli, a narrow-gauge steam train. The Molli has connected Heiligendamm with Bad Doberan since 1886 and is still in use today. Afterwards, continue by coach to Kühlungsborn and enjoy a short, guided walk of one of the most famous traditional German seaside resorts since 1880. Spend some time at leisure to try one of the German cakes in one of the many bakeries or do some shopping in the lively streets.
