Ikkil Cenote: Swim in the refreshing water of a natural cenote – a deep, water-filled sinkhole in limestone that creates a natural pool filled by rain and water from underground rivers. These crystal-clear wells of water are considered sacred and thought by the Mayan’s to be passage to the underworld.

Requirements & Restrictions: Guests are not allowed to climb the ruin and must be able to swim to access the cenote. Closed-toe shoes required.
What to Bring: Beach towel and cash. Credit cards are not accepted.
Good to Know: Traveling time to the Mayan ruins is 2 hours. Guests should expect to walk on uneven and gravel terrain. Children 5 years and under are free.
