Willemstad: Take a scenic drive on the Otrobanda side of Willemstad and pass by highlights of the city including Riffort, the swinging pontoon bridge, and Brion square.

Hato Caves: This biggest and most prominent cave on the island is more than 300,000 years old. Enjoy a guided 45-minute tour where you will see beautiful limestone formations, the famous ‘Madonna’-statue, and a colony of long-nosed fruit bats. The caves have multiple chambers where you will discover its various natural wonders, including impressive stalagmites and stalactites and a water pool.

Flamingo Sanctuary at Sint Michiel: Curaçao is a protected habitat for flamingos. Most days you will find a couple of dozen wading through the salt flats of Sint Michiel. You will have a photo stop from the bus to observe and snap a picture of the brightly colored specimens in their natural habitat.

Nature Hike Kokomo Trail: On this 40-minute, moderate hike starting at Kokomo beach, you will take in the beautiful views of Curaçao’s crystalline waters and learn about its flora. This trail ends in the fisherman’s village of Boca Sami, where you will hop back on the bus.

Age Requirements and Restrictions: We advise a minimum participation age on this tour from 8 years and up due to the hiking part of the tour. However, if guests would like to join with younger children this is at their own risk. This is an active excursion and, in order to participate, guests must be able to easily navigate the moderate hike and multiple stairs. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes required. For safety reasons, pregnant women and guests with back or neck injuries, walking difficulties or heart conditions may not participate on this excursion. Guests on the “bubble” tour must remain in the designated tour area and may not explore on their own or leave the reserved area without an escort.

What to Bring: Water, hat or cap and sun protection.

Good to Know: Since Hato Caves is a unique upstairs limestone cave, you must walk up 49 steps to reach the entrance. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
