Board an open air safari truck destined for the first of three interesting Grand Turk stops, but plenty of sights in between. Travel through historic Cockburn town, the islands’ administrative capital, your first stop is the oldest church on Grand Turk. Browse for a few local souvenirs at the local craft market before its time to head to your next stop. Enjoy panoramic vistas of the Atlantic Ocean and the island neighboring cays on your way to the majestic lighthouse on the northern most tip of the island. Scenic island views continue as you travel down "The Ridge" past a mix of modern and traditional island homes, towards the town landmark clock tower. A turn by one of the islands largest Salinas takes you to your next stop, the historic Anglican Church. On your way back to the ship you will pass the space capsule Friendship 7 that touched down off the coast of Grand Turk in 1962.
