Go off-roading aboard a comfortable and sturdy 4x4 Super Jeep. Your full day of adventure begins with a ride through Akureyri and out into the rugged and untouched wilderness. Enjoy a photo stop at Baroardalur Valley, a lush, green valley dotted with patches of lava. Then, drive to the breathtaking beauty known as the Aldeyjarfoss Waterfall. Framed with tall columns of black basalt, the white-water cascades 65 ft. into the Skjalfandafljot River. From the waterfall, enjoy a short stop at Lake Myvatn, which lies at the heart of Iceland's most geologically active district. Then, it’s time for lunch at a local restaurant followed by a stop at Godafoss Waterfall, which stretches 90 ft. and tumbles more than 35 ft. into the Skjalfandafljot River. Snap some impressive shots of the beautiful crescent-shaped canyon with its cascading falls before reboarding the Jeep for the return route to your ship.
