During your visit to the orphanage, you will learn about the home's mission, vision and the work of the staff who take care of the children. Afterwards, we will visit the church of the community to learn about the religious traditions of local people.
Then, it is time to travel to a rural community to visit a homemade cassava bread site. Observe the elaborate process of this popular and important part of local people traditional diet. Our next stop will be a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious Dominican lunch. On your way back to the pier, enjoy a panoramic tour (outsider visit) of the most relevant sites of Puerto Plata City (Independence Park, San Felipe Cathedral and the Malecón.
