Your journey will take you north to the historic Fort James Beach, just 10 minutes away from the pier. Take the time to practice and fit into your safety helmet. Past the pasture lands and prime homes, you’ll be able to ride your Segway on a road alongside Fort Beach. This one-of-a-kind beach features half a mile of Segway space lined with sea grape trees and palm trees. Navigate around the large salt pond full of bird life such as white egrets and pelicans. Ride through one of Antigua’s historical forts, Fort James, built by the British in 1706 to fight off the French invasion. Its large wooden gates are an impressive site as you’ll be able to view the Caribbean Sea from there. After the tour, enjoy a cool drink.
