Hol Chan: Interact with some of the most amazing water creatures. On your way to Hol Chan, you will discover the beauty of the Belizean waters, and across the horizon, you will discover the dozens of islands that sparkle in the deep blue seascape. Once at the reserve, you will be split into small groups, one group per boat, which avoids distressing the coral reef environment. You will also have snorkel gear and plunge into an unforgettable experience. You will meet the wonderful sea life of one of the best sites on Belize, and will be overwhelmed by their beauty and magnificence. Swim above colorful coral formations and watch for eels, kaleidoscopic fish and a myriad of species, some exclusive to this location. Swim above bright coral formations in Hol Chan, and watch for the sea turtles, that thrive within the protected area.

Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age - 12 years old, Maximum weight - 250lbs. For safety reasons, pregnant women and guests with cardiac conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy or under certain medical restrictions may not participate in this excursion. Use of life vest is mandatory for all guests. All guests must be strong swimmers. Guest must pay attention very carefully to instructions provided by tour guide before entering the water. Touching the turtles or any type of marine life is not allowed.
What to Bring: Comfortable clothes, sunglasses, biodegradable sunscreen, hat, beach towel, cash or credit/debit card for additional purchases.
Good to Know: Hol Chan is a natural reserve in middle of the ocean. It is very important that all guests feel confident to swim in open ocean waters. Safety of guests and crew is very important; therefore, instructions and guidelines prior to starting the activity must be followed at all times.
