Lexington & Concord

Enjoy a scenic drive to the outskirts of Boston where you will discover the historic battlefields of Lexington and Concord.  Learn how these one-time farming communities played such a pivotal role in the early days of the American Revolution. Retrace parts of Paul Revere s midnight ride to Lexington Green and travel to the Old North Bridge to see where the first battle of the revolution began as the  shot heard  round the world  was fired. 

During your tour of these historic towns, you will see the farmers fields separated by stone walls on gently rolling hills with beautifully restored colonial homes. Your guide will also point out the homes of some of America s most renowned authors including Nathaniel Hawthorne, Louisa May Alcott, and Ralph Waldo Emerson. On your return journey, you will have the opportunity to stroll past the hallowed halls of Harvard, America s oldest and most prestigious university.
