Give back to CHANCES at the local residential care facility created for children and young adults in Dominica.

As you depart from the pier you will make a brief stop at the local produce market. Dominica is often referred to as the “bread basket of the Caribbean” and you will have the opportunity to witness this while you spend a few moments selecting from the hearty display of food items ready to purchased. Visit a local church, to meet one of the guardians of this place of worship. Next, take a drive to the community of Trafalgar to Chances, where you will have a chance to meet the locals who work there. Here, you’ll be able to learn how being there will impact their recovery efforts. Next, stop by the famed Trafalgar Falls where a short walk will take you to the viewing platform for this awe inspiring natural wonder with its Mother and Father Falls. Your last stop will be a stop for a local Dominican lunch served with your choice of juice, water or soda. Return to your ship knowing that your time was purposeful and impactful.
